Wear-resistant TPU
Polyester TPU Elastomer
How to choose TPU material?
TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) elastomer is a material with good elasticity and mechanical properties. It is a thermoplastic material made by chemical reaction of polyurethane.
TPU is a copolymer composed of soft segment (flexible segment) and hard segment (rigid segment).
According to the different ratios of soft and hard segments, it can be divided into the following types:
1.Polyester TPU: The hard segment is polyester, which has high mechanical strength, wear resistance and oil resistance, but is relatively poor in hydrolysis stability. Suitable for industrial applications such as conveyor belts, seals and automotive parts.
2.Polyether TPU: The hard segment is polyether, which has excellent low-temperature flexibility and hydrolysis stability, but its oil resistance is slightly inferior to polyester TPU. Suitable for medical devices, hoses and wires and cables.
According to the different chemical compositions, TPU can be divided into the following types:
Aliphatic TPU and aromatic TPU
Polyester TPU Material characteristics:
MT series (normal grade, high wear-resistant grade) Polyester general grade, hardness range Shore 60A ~ 72D, with excellent mechanical strength, good fluidity, demoulding, high wear resistance and solvent resistance.
Maikesi adjusts different formulas and viscosities, and TPU granules can be processed by many different methods such as injection molding, pipe extrusion, film extrusion .
Applications of MT series:casters, heels, couplings, seals, animal ear tags, engineering components, etc.
