Nylon 66
Polyamide thermoplastic engineering polymers (PA66) for injection molding
Nylon 66 is an engineering plastic made by polycondensation of adipic acid and hexamethylenediamine. Compared with PA6, PA66 has a higher melting point and better mechanical properties, so it has been widely used in many fields.
Nylon 66 characteristics:
1. High strength and rigidity: PA66 has higher mechanical strength and rigidity than PA6 and can withstand greater loads.
2. Good heat resistance: PA66 has a melting point of about 255°C and has a high heat deformation temperature and continuous use temperature.
3. Excellent wear resistance: PA66 performs well in high wear environments and is suitable for making wear-resistant parts.
4. Chemical resistance: It has good tolerance to a variety of chemicals (such as oils, fats, alkalis, etc.), but its acid resistance is also poor.
5. Low friction coefficient: It has good self-lubrication and reduces friction and wear.
6. Good electrical insulation: PA66 has excellent electrical insulation properties and is suitable for electrical and electronic fields.
7. Fatigue resistance: PA66 can still maintain good performance under repeated stress environments.
Maikesi nylon 66 is available in a variety of versions, including non-reinforced, toughened, wear-resistant, Flame retardant, glass fiber or mineral reinforced.
In order to cope with different scenarios, Maikesi can expand and adapt to a very wide range of needs by designing and developing new special formulas.
Nylon 66 applications:
1. Automotive industry: used to manufacture automotive parts such as engine hoods, gears, wheels, radiator parts, because of its good heat resistance and mechanical strength.
2. Electronic appliances: used as electrical insulation materials, connectors, switches, etc., because of its good electrical insulation and heat resistance.
3. Textile industry: used to produce high-strength fibers, such as tire cords, parachute ropes, climbing ropes, sportswear, fishing nets, etc.
4. Industrial equipment: used to manufacture industrial machinery parts such as bearings, pulleys, gears, seals, pump parts, etc., because of its wear resistance and self-lubricating properties.
5. Consumer goods: used to produce sports equipment, household tools, kitchen appliances, because of its durability and good processability.
